has over 20 years experience
in the martial arts
and holds the rank of 5th degree black belt.
She has recently been inducted into the
BLACK BELT HALL OF FAME.
Styles include Shotokan, Karate, Tae Kwon Do,
Tai Chi, American Karate, kobudo,
and traditional Jiu-Jitsu.Her Sensei,
Warren T. Garrett,
runs and operates a dojo
of carefully selected students
in Chicago.In her system,
one is 1st degree black belt for 2 years
before qualifying for 2nd dan;
3 years at 2nd before qualifying for 3rd dan;
4 years at 3rd before qualifying for 4th dan, etc.Ms. Benevento earned her
5th degree in December of 2005.
