There are 3 options — we’re taking the one hour tour,
the one that costs $35.
(the other two are more expensive).

COST:
$35/hour

TIME:
3pm, but arrive 15 minutes early

(across from Moore Square)



WHAT DO WE SEE?

NON-REFUNDABLE
Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

RAIN
Once you purchase your ticket
the tour runs regardless of weather conditions.
In case of rain, they provide ponchos.



CARRY-ONS
There’s a roomy bag by the handlebars
that can carry such items like a camera
or small purse (up to 10 lbs.).

PEE PEE STOPS
They discourage this.
Go beforehand.
(good thing we got the hour tour and not the two hour tour).
They say if you have an urgent need,
they’ll try to accommodate.

AGE & WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
You have to weigh at least 100 pounds (I JUST made that one!!)
and no more than 260 pounds.
Ya’ gotta’ be 16 or older.



IS IT HARD?
No experience necessary — they teach you.
You have to stand for the duration of the tour.
You start off with a short training session.
The people in the photos look pretty stupid
so I think we can handle it.

HOW MANY ON TOUR?
They take 10 people.

HOW FAST DO THESE DANG THINGS GO?
Segways’ top speed is almost 13mph. (woof!)
For safety reasons, they set the max at 9mph. (wuss!)
We will travel about 4mph for most of the tour. (warp speed)

FOOD
No food is included in the tour.
They provide bottled water to all tour participants.

CAN WE GO INSIDE BUILDINGS ON THE TOUR?
Nope.
